Harris Hill are thrilled to be partnering with Smart Works as they look to recruit a newly created role, of Head of Communications.
Would you be excited to join a high-profile, creative and fun charity which supports women in the workplace? As lead storyteller you will actively promote Smart Works and its mission, with a particular focus on building a community of influencers within social and traditional media.
You will promote the Chief Executive and prepare her for media engagement and develop a crisis communications plan for the charity.
Who are Smart Works?
At the heart of Smart Works sits a two hour dressing and coaching service for unemployed women with confirmed job interviews. Once a client is successful at interview, they are welcomed back for a Second Dressing to receive five additional pieces of clothing. This means that they can start their new role with a capsule working wardrobe which will see them through until their first pay cheque.
Smart Works are a sophisticated brand, and their patron is HRH the Duchess of Sussex. Since this announcement at the beginning of 2019, the brand and social media following has grown substantially, your role will be professionalise the brand and be the tactical lead on all communications.
As Lead Communications expert there is an excellent opportunity for professional progression, to have complete autonomy and creativity in the role and to work closely with the CEO. As the organisation grows, you will also build a new communications team.
Salary £45,000- £50,000
