This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a brilliant art based not-for-profit organisation, Dash Arts. They create exceptional artistic experiences that bridge divides across art forms, cultures, languages and communities. Over the last 15 years, they’ve created award-winning new work with over 9,000 artists and participants for audiences of over 350,000 worldwide.

They are seeking a Head of Marketing, Communications & Audience Development to join their wonderful team. Joining the organisation in a part-time nature, they are seeking an experienced individual, whose personality will suit the creative and collaborative nature of their busy, hard-working team.

The Head of Marketing, Communications & Audience Development will oversee the work of the

Marketing Assistant as well as freelance Marketing and PR Managers brought on to deliver campaigns for larger-scale productions.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are driven by culture, change and love the Arts. In this newly created role you will be responsible for creating and leading on an overarching communications strategy that will foster the growth and retention of audiences and build recognition of the cross-disciplinary work created by the centre both here in the UK and internationally.

You will build partnerships internally and externally, attend press nights, be hands-on and strategic and make the role your own. You will manage the brand identity, develop strategies across comms, marketing, digital and PR and have the full support of the CEO, who you will work closely with. You will also line manage 1-2 staff.

This is a part-time role, 2.5 days a week, and the location is very flexible. The main office is in East London, however the team work well remotely. You have the potential to build a model that suits.

Salary: £38,000- £42,000 (FTE) pro rata or freelance equivalent, depending on experience. Actual salary range £19,000-£22,800 2.5 days).

Contract type: Part-time PAYE or freelance

Hours: This role will be 2.5 days per week. Days/hours to be determined by the needs of the role and the individual, and the availability of other relevant team members.

Location: This position is offered remotely - however, you are also welcome to work in the London office on some days if you prefer.
