Head of Membership and Marketing

Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketing expert with experience in a membership organisation to be part of the Charity Finance Group's important work supporting the charity sector. 

In this role you will be responsible for driving the membership and marketing strategies forward and getting the most out of an established and ambitious team.

Following a recent restructure, CFG is at an exciting time of change, and the ideal candidate will be excited to liaise with a variety of stakeholders across different sizes and disciplines of a social change organisation. They are looking for a confident, solutions focused individual, who is an exceptional leader of people.

Essential experience:

  • Managed a commercial membership scheme and increased member numbers
  • Experience leading an organisational marketing strategy
  • Experience leading an organisational marketing strategy

The role is both technical and strategic in nature therefore you will need to be passionate about data and using the information to drive the organisation forward to meet its challenging goals and aspirations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure membership scheme is appropriate and that the fee structure and commensurate level of benefits offered reflect the needs of the market.
  • Ensure that member services and benefits continue to be relevant and useful to our audiences and are effectively promoted to both members and the non-member audience.
  • Ensure renewal and retention campaigns are undertaken in a timely and effective manner.

Salary: £42,820 - £44,880 (dependent on experience)

This is a permanent role, working 35 hours a week, with a flexible working pattern.
