Internal Communications Manager (remote working)

Job description

A fantastic opportunity to develop, deliver and lead an effective internal communications strategy and focus on internal communications for a 12 month contract, whilst working from home full-time.

Leading a team of 1, you will deliver a one team approach, focus staff on the delivery of the charity’s strategy and build the right conversation and approaches during a process of change.

The charity work in local communities to support the needs of people living with disabilities, providing residential and day services to enhance their independence and to promote the rights of disabled people as equal members of society.

I am keen to speak to someone who has the following experience:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of managing internal communications to wide and varied audiences
  • Sound understanding of the effectiveness of various communications channels and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful communications
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary communications team
  • Experience gained in any sector- charity experience not needed.

Remote working. The team work from home full-time, however you will need to get to the office once a month for key meetings. Offices in Sussex and Wakefield.   

5 days a week with flexible working hours.

This is a 12 month FTC, maternity cover.

Salary £33,500
