Internal Communications Officer

Job description

I am keen to speak to a Communications Officer, with experience in Internal Communications, who will join a brilliant health charity at an exciting time of change.

In this role you will coordinate and develop content, news and messaging for the charity’s internal communications channels so that employees and volunteers are informed, engaged and able to take part in two-way communication.

You will be an excellent communicator who enjoys writing, copywriting, marketing and building effective relationships. You will have some understanding or experience in Internal Communications, and be excited to focus on this in your next role.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate communications across our internal channels including our staff newsletters, intranet and email communications managing a steady flow of two-way communication.
  • Develop our communication channels creating quality content to reach all staff, keeping them informed, involved and inspired.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to effectively, creatively and accessibly communicate our organisational strategy and key messages to staff using stories, articles, interviews, videos, posters and blogs.
  • Manage staff events including our staff awards, briefings and social events so that our staff and volunteers feel included, updated and valued.

Salary £29,500

Based in North London.
