This is an exciting opportunity to join an inspirational charity delivering humanitarian aid to the Middle East. This organisation is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied territory in the Middle East.

The charity's programmes provide access to essential health services and build local knowledge and skills to address local health problems. In times of humanitarian emergency, they are ready to respond rapidly with aid and assistance. They speak out in the UK and internationally to ensure the political and social barriers to health and dignity are addressed.

Harris Hill are currently looking for a dedicated fundraiser to develop, implement and maintain the organisation's Philanthropy strategy and are looking for an experienced Philanthropy and Development Manager to join the fundraising team.

Philanthropy and Development Manager

Location: London

Salary: 37,000 - 44,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

Contract: Permanent

The Philanthropy and Development Manager will accelerate the growth of fundraising across Major Donors, Trusts and Foundations income streams to achieve long term, sustainable income growth within the UK. The post holder will work with the Director of Fundraising and Senior Management Team in developing pipelines and delivering income growth of institutional donors.

To be considered for this position you will have substantial experience of working in a donor focused organisation, with a record of achievement in major donor development, trusts and foundations, events management and VIP liaison. You will have strong experience of managing and developing staff as well as demonstrable experience of securing and supporting donations (at a six-figure level) from major donors and trusts and foundations by producing high quality, compelling written and creative materials.
