Philanthropy Manager - Midlands

Harris Hill are delighted to working with a sector leading children's charity in their search for a new Philanthropy Manager based in the Midlands. The organisation are keen to build its major donor fundraising in the Midlands and, with the departure of the existing, successful postholder to another organisation, a rare opportunity has arisen to join a successful team of high value donor fundraisers, responsible for raising the millions of pounds.

An ideal position for an energetic deal-maker, you will be responsible for some significant existing relationships but your main focus will be on new business, generating new prospects, building lasting relationships and making asks for substantial financial gifts. This post involves close collaboration with a range of internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

You will
- have great people skills and the personal stature to be able to operate effectively within thier audience stream.
- have the personal resilience necessary to work in a new business environment.
-be an excellent relationships manager, highly proactive, self-motivated and organised.
- be comfortable with targets and able to deal with competing priorities.
-have first class written skills, able to tell the charity's story in a compelling way.
-have the ability and willingness to travel independently throughout the region.

Home based in the Midlands and requiring the ability to travel independently throughout the region, the post-holder will need to be within easy reach of either Nottingham or Birmingham
