Philanthropy Manager (Trusts)

Job description

Harris Hill are thrilled to be working with this high performing Trusts team based within a large children's charity. They are looking for a Philanthropy Manager (Trusts) to manage a 5/6 figure portfolio of trusts and foundations, as well as research and write new proposals too. This is a great role for someone looking to step up after being an assistant and support to a trusts team.

Experience of developing high-value relationships and using major giving techniques to secure income is essential to the role, as are strong written and verbal communication skills. The Trusts & Statutory Team has grown considerably in recent years to become one of the highest performing at the organisation increasing their annual income by more than 3 million since 2018 with a focus on pursing the highest value opportunities. At present, and despite the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, the team is performing extremely well and in a strong position for the year ahead.

The wider Major Giving Department is very close and supportive with an active social life (currently working from home until September, though typically based in the heart of Shoreditch). This is a great team to join!

To be considered for this role:

  • Ideally experience of writing applications for 5 figures and an understanding of prospect research too.
  • A brilliant relationship builder as you will be building meaningful relationships with funders and potential donors
  • A great team player as you will be working with a collaborative high performing team
