Joining a close-knit, passionate team in Edinburgh, I am looking to speak to an experienced Policy and Public Relations Officer, who will draft and coordinate high level policy documents, position statements and briefings on behalf of a Health focused, Membership Body in Scotland.

Key responsibilities:

- Draft and coordinate high level policy documents, position statements and briefings on behalf of the organisation.

- Draft consultation responses and strategic documents, based on research and analysis in order to develop briefings and position statements.

- Lead media activity- be a point of contact for journalists and media contacts, drafting proactive and reactive press releases as required.

- Engage with members, stakeholders and partners on areas of policy, through a variety of channels, to further the policy, public affairs and communications objectives of the College.

Location- Based in the new offices in Edinburgh City Centre

Hybrid working- Ideally 2-3 days in the office.

Full-time, permanent role

Salary £31,485
