Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a children charity in their search for a Regional Manager in order to cover maternity leave. As Regional Manager, as part of a friendly and collaborative team, you will drive the regional fundraising strategy with focus on the growth of unrestricted income by galvanizing fundraising support from a growing sports portfolio, local corporates, volunteer fundraising groups and the public. This post will focus within a defined geographic area, to achieve agreed financial income targets and relevant KPI's. The role will cover London and Guernsey.

Location: home based/ London
Length of the contract: 12 month FTC

The role entails:

Managing and delivering fundraising campaigns and activities across Guernsey and London to achieve significant income growth in line with the regional fundraising strategy.
Managing the research and development of local corporate partners and volunteer group prospects by maintaining a pipeline of opportunities.
Securing support and introductions to potential new local corporate supporters and organisations/clubs, identified to match their organisation and our own organisational priorities.
Led fundraising groups to successfully fundraise and raise awareness in a specific geographic area.
Securing support for the sports portfolio, encouraging the public to run, walk, cycle for the charity.
Always demonstrating accountability to supporters and volunteers and operating with openness, honesty, transparency and consistent with all current Fundraising regulatory standards, data protection, VAT and Gift Aid legislation.
Managing and delivering on set financial targets and outcomes set across the specific geographic area.

Key skills and experience:

Demonstrable track record of continual achievement leading and delivering fundraising in a specific geographic area in excess of 250k
Substantial experience of devising and implementing successful fundraising for at least two of the following areas: New Business Development, Charity of the Year, Key Account Management, and Volunteer Committee led Events to deliver income growth.
Proven understanding Funding agreements and contracts and where these are affected by VAT and other Fundraising legislation.
The ability to crisis manage as appropriate to ensure the delivery of all events and fundraising activities in a safe and professional manner.
Full understanding of all current Health and Safety legislation for running events and experience in carrying out risk assessments as appropriate.

Proven experience of networking and of developing and stewarding excellent personal relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders, donors and volunteers.
