Senior Communications Manager

I am working with an international non-profit charity, as they look to recruit a new Senior Communications Manager, who is passionate about tackling the climate emergency. In this role you will use your skills in strategic communications to make a difference. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark in a dynamic business-facing organization, working to get messages across to global, varied audiences.

The ideal candidate: This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider global team. You will lead a team of 3 and lead, develop and implement integrated multi-channel global communications strategies and plans, in line with the strategic plan and the needs of our target audiences.

The organisation drives companies and governments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard water resources and protect forests. Their platform is one of the richest sources of information globally on how companies and governments are driving environmental change.

Required skills and experience:

  • Strong experience of developing, implementing and evaluating highly successful multi-channel communications strategies;
  • Strong PR experience and demonstrable knowledge of international media, including business, trade and environment media;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and nurture relationships both internally and externally, including complex multi-stakeholder relationships;

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, annual discretionary bonus, 30 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), generous non-contributory pension provision.

This is permanent role, based in Central London.
