Senior Direct Marketing Manager- Direct Debits and Cash

Job description

You will lead afantastic, dedicated and high achieving cash and direct debit direct marketing team, on behalf of a charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care, for anyone affected by breast cancer. Alongside your team, you will be responsible for generating income in excess of £8 million per year through the acquisition and retention of new and existing direct debit and cash supporters. This role will build and lead activity across multiple media channels such as DRTV, Face to Face, Telemarketing, Direct Mail and Digital.

A dynamic fundraiser with energy and vision who manages by example; someone with emotional intelligence and the ability to build and manage a diverse portfolio, with a track record of significant success. This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the charity’s Individual Giving team, with investment from the charity. There are lots of new projects on the horizon, across supporter engagement and innovation.

It is essential for you to have the following qualifications and experience:

• Substantial experience in direct marketing, and in particular direct debit and cash, across a range of channels for example, DRTV, face to face, direct mail, telemarketing and digital.

• Line management, including staff development, coaching and performance management.

• Experience of monitoring and setting budgets in a direct marketing context, with demonstrable delivery of successful income targets.

• A high level of drive and ambition, both personally and for the organisation.

 

Salary- £41,000 to £46,000 per annum

Full-time, permanent role. 35 hour per week.

Office- Aldgate East, London.

Hybrid- Following a blended approach between office and home working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office

Great benefits- Office closed over Christmas. 25 days paid leave per year; increasing annually by one day to a maximum of 30 days. Opportunity to buy and sell holiday dates.
