Senior Media Relations Officer (London OR Home-based)

Job description

Are you passionate about the power of the media to change lives? Do you have a knack for finding interesting angles on stories and a strong track record of delivering impactful media campaigns?

In either a home-based, or London based role, I am eager to speak to a PR or Communications Officer looking to take the next step in their career. You will join a campaigning charity, helping to raise awareness of childhood deafness, drive forward campaigns and motivate the public to support them.

This is a hands-on role, with fantastic campaigns for you to get involved in from day one. You will work closely with key colleagues internally, as well as journalists and bloggers externally to communicate issues in a way that will grab attention and promote engagement.

Your excellent communication skills, together with the ability to liaise with internal and external contacts, will make you an invaluable part of the media team. This is an exciting and challenging role and will suit someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a wider communications department.

Ideally you will have experience working within a charity, campaigning or political environment but we are open to applications from candidates with agency experience.
