Senior Programme Lead (Drowning Prevention)

This a Temporary 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
This is a home-based role

Leading a team to shape, design and drive the successful implementation of a new package of work with ethnically diverse communities of African, Caribbean and Asian heritage in the UK and Ireland with the aim of reducing drowning among these high-risk communities through water safety education, messaging and drowning prevention activity.

Person specification

• Demonstrable experience in a management or strategic role
• Experience of scoping new opportunities in the development context and bringing programmes from idea to implementation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Significant experience of managing development projects including risk, finance and reporting
• Ability to establish effective relationships and convene a broad range of stakeholders including; donors, partners, government, researchers, civil society organisations, communities
