Senior Trusts Account Manager

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced trusts fundraiser an incredibly well-respected charity that was set up over 130 years ago. The role is to grow and implement the charity's strategy to raise funds from trusts, foundations and through existing relationships built with long standing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
-To maximise the potential by generating income through developing a portfolio of donor relationships with key trusts and statutory grant-givers.
-Devise a clear and deliverable strategy for the cultivation and stewardship programme with philanthropists and grant making trusts and charitable foundations.
-Write, research, and develop high quality funding proposals, stewardship reports.
-Secure grants to meet unrestricted and restricted funding needs tailored to donor requirements.

Person Specification:
-Experience within a trust role
-Experience of using fundraising databases.
-Eye for detail
-Proven ability to write imaginative and compelling proposals within specific funding criteria for unrestricted and restricted funding.
-Experience of securing lottery and statutory income.
-Superb organisational and workload management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
