Supported Housing Officer

Job description

Are you an experienced housing or support professional with a passion for working with vulnerable adults? Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real difference in the lives of ex-Service personnel?

Supported Housing Officer - Immediate Start
Chiswick | £18.30 per hour (3-month contract) | Full-time, on-site

We’re working with a brilliant organisation that provides high-quality supported housing to veterans. They’re looking for an empathetic and organised Supported Housing Officer to join their team on a 3-month temporary contract.

Based on-site in Chiswick and working across a small number of London locations, you’ll be a visible and trusted presence for residents - supporting new tenants to settle in, managing tenancies, promoting wellbeing and community involvement, and helping people maintain their independence. You’ll work closely with external agencies and take a trauma-informed approach to any issues around tenancy breaches or anti-social behaviour.

This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll need to be proactive, approachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with vulnerable adults (ideally including the veteran community), along with a good understanding of housing law, tenancy management, and safeguarding will be essential.

The details:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

  • £18.30 per hour

  • 3-month temporary contract

  • Based on-site in Chiswick, with travel to other London sites as required

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in housing or support services

  • A good understanding of housing law, safeguarding, and the benefits system

  • Confidence working with vulnerable adults, ideally including the ex-Service community

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

If you’re ready to use your housing and support skills in a setting that really matters, we’d love to hear from you.
