Supporter Engagement Manager

Job description

A fantastic Supporter Engagement Manager position has arisen within a friendly & supportive health related charity based in Bath.

The Supporter Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to engage individuals and encourage them to support the charity financially.

This includes the planning and execution of individual giving campaigns, management and development of the charity’s membership programmes, legacy marketing and supporter stewardship and retention.

The role reports to the Head of Supporter Engagement and is responsible for managing a team of four and an income budget of £1m.

The successful candidate will have experience of developing and delivering a cross-channel direct marketing programme, ideally within a charity or membership organisation and will have hands-on experience of managing customer/ supporter acquisition, development and retention campaigns. Experience of managing budgets, developing annual plans and a background of leading and developing a team is also key.
