Head of Philanthropy

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to partnering up with this environmetal organisational with their second brand new role (due to unprecedented growth). They are looking for a Head of Philanthropy to lead on the unrestricted level of income around major donor and high value fundraising. This role will be reporting in to the Director of Development.

A perfect role for someone who is currently a Senior Manager within philanthropy. You will be line managing 1 person, so the team is really small. This means that as well as working in the strategy with the Director, this post holder will be expected to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into building up the relationships within their philanthropic space.

Within this role you will be:
- Steward and grow a portfolio of HNW donors and Trust and grants in the UK and abroad
- Identify new prospects, write compelling and bespoke case for support materials and engage through appropriate mechanisms
-Relationship management of existing and new donors (some held with Development Director)
-Oversee unrestricted reporting cycle
-Work with the Deforestation free finance initiative and bring on new family offices who will be benefiting from our targeted information for them

Salary is circa £55,000
