Philanthropy Lead

Job description

Harris Hill are thrilled to be working with a leading national charity focusing on supporting people with eating disorders. They are needing a brilliant major donor fundraiser to be their next Philanthropy Lead. This small, but mighty charity will be able to give the perfect next step up for a high-net-worth fundraiser.

This role is working closely with the Head of Partnerships on developing new relationships with major donors, as well as working on cultivating existing donors. This role is a perfect role for an existing manager to take that step up. It is also a perfect organisation to join if you want to work cross team within the high value fundraising team. The Philanthropy Lead will have a great mix of strategic input, as well as hands on donor relationship building.

This role is an excellent opportunity for your skills to be developed and broadened within high value fundraising, which will put you in good stead for taking up Head of Partnership roles.

To apply you will need to:

  • Ideally have a background in major donor fundraising, but candidates with a clear background in relationship fundraising should also get in touch.
  • Some clear experience of supporting or leading on new business or obtaining new supporters/ donors.
  • Working on a 6-figure budget ideally.
  • A genuine passion and sympathy to work around mental health.
