Welcome to Christian Aid

Welcome from Antonio, Digital Lead

Hello and welcome. I’m Antonio, and I have the privilege of leading Christian Aid’s digital team — a group of developers, content creators, insight specialists, optimisation practitioners, and email and acquisition experts who work together as a centre of excellence for the whole organisation.

We are at a vital moment in Christian Aid’s digital journey. Our digital strategy sets out an ambitious path: to double our reach and deepen our connections.

To do that, we’re focusing on three priorities — Acquisition, Content and Experience — and every member of this team plays a crucial role in bringing that vision to life.

Digital for us is more than technology or channels. It’s how we amplify the voices of our communities, tell stories that move people, and build meaningful relationships that inspire giving, action and prayer. Our work connects supporters to a mission that matters, helping create a world rooted in dignity, equality and justice.

To make this happen, we’re strengthening how we show up online by:

creating richer, user-centred content

expanding our reach through smart acquisition

improving the experience across every touchpoint — from page load to donation flow to email journey

Over the past few years, we’ve made exciting progress in our digital performance, but we know there is far more potential ahead of us. This next chapter is about strengthening the journeys that matter.

Each role we’re recruiting for will help shape that future. Whether your craft is optimisation, content production, analytics or digital acquisition, your skills will help us build stronger journeys, reach more people, and create more meaningful connections. Your curiosity, your insight, and your commitment to continuous improvement are essential to Christian Aid’s digital future.

Read on to find out more about our organisation and its values, the benefits of joining us, and the opportunities currently available to do so.
